General Description

Sewerage Catchment:

• Norah Head outfall discharges the combined effluents from Mannering Park, Wyong South, Gwandalan, Toukley and Charmhaven STPs.

Sewage Treatment:  

• Toukley STP uses trickling filters. The other four STPs use the IEEAS process and

Outfall:

• The outfall was commissioned in 1988 and is located at Norah Head.  It has three stainless steel nozzles, each with a diameter of 280mm located approximately 4 meters below mean sea level.
